The Alps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail is a cycle trail funded as one of the projects of the New Zealand Cycle Trail. The trail extends more than from Aoraki / Mount Cook to Oamaru on the Pacific Ocean. The Alps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail allows cyclists to experience some of the most beautiful scenery New Zealand has to offer. The full trail takes approximately 6 to 8 days to ride, although there are plenty of options for day excursions.
